A catch-all bonus room turned into a real home office — with a Murphy bed tucked in so it still works as a guest room when family comes to town.

After
BeforeA do-everything bonus room becomes a real office
The homeowners had a bonus room that was trying to be a little bit of everything and not quite nailing any of it. They wanted a real office — somewhere they could actually get work done — but they weren't willing to give up a place for guests to sleep. So we built them both.
We pulled the old barn door, framed in a new doorway where it actually made sense for the layout, and relocated the light switch to match. Then we installed a Murphy bed that folds away clean when it's time to focus and drops right back down when company shows up. One room, two jobs, zero compromise.
