Barn Restoration — afterAfterBarn Restoration — beforeBefore

Bare and weathered to fully restored — greenhouse and all

This old barn had weathered more than a few hard Virginia seasons. The plywood siding had gone gray and bare, the trim was long gone, and the only way up to the loft was an extension ladder leaned against the wall. It needed more than a coat of paint — it needed to be brought back.

We started by pressure-washing the entire structure down to a clean, sound surface. From there we patched siding where it was needed and trimmed the barn out completely — fresh white trim wrapping the corners, doors, and every window — then rolled on a deep barn red that gave the whole building its character back. We tore out the old ladder setup and built a solid set of stairs for safe, everyday access to the loft, and built the attached greenhouse off the side to give the property something it never had before.

The result isn't just a barn that looks good again — it's one that's safer, more usable, and more capable than it's been in years. That's the part we're proudest of: it didn't just get a facelift, it got its purpose back.
